And that is normal: SmartScreen flags EVERY executable that is not signed with a paid certificate, no matter who wrote it. To open it: “More info” → “Run anyway”. If you would rather check first, the file travels over HTTPS and its SHA-256 is right above so you can compare it with what you downloaded. Signing the game is on the list; until then we would rather warn you than let it surprise you.
Developed and measured on a GTX 970M. If it runs there, it runs on yours.
Questions
Yes. It is a personal project in development: no payments, no account, nothing to buy inside.
Yes: there is an official server in Chile, IP rooms to play from anywhere and local network for when you are in the same house. Bots fill any empty slots.
No. Plazma Toys puts no drivers and no system-level services on your PC, which is exactly why it runs natively on Linux the same as on Windows. The match is ruled by the server, which is the one running the simulation.

Not yet. The engine supports macOS, but Apple requires the app to be signed and notarised by them or the system refuses to open it at all, so Windows and Linux come first.
By itself. On launch it checks for a new version and downloads it. You only need the installer again if we say so here.
Yes, against bots. All three modes run locally, with the full match and its economy.
